Why don't we do it in the road?

Among the many reasons for not wanting to do works in the road, the simple fact is that we need to get electricity and safe future pedestrian access to Barden House. 

The works involve installing an electricity supply under Alderstone Road and constructing a traffic island in the middle.

The team members are working as fast as they can to minimise the disruption.

The works will also include short disruption to the footpath opposite.
