Render onto Barden...

The construction and finishing of the external walls is inspired by European building techniques. In particular, the use of the Porotherm chambered clay block and the external render.

The cementitious render is already coloured and imported from France. It is applied by hand in three coats, over two mortar coats that include a reinforcing fibreglass mesh.

From a distance, the continuous nature of the finish gives a beautiful aesthetic to the architecture.

The render gives a handsome and durable appearance with small texturing to add interest to the finish
